The BNP Paribas Open is unofficially known as the “5th Grand Slam.” Next to the 4 Grand Slams @bnpparibasopen has the highest attendance numbers, high prize money, is a favorite among players making the turn out of the top WTA and ATP tour player’s consistently strong, and with Larry Ellison’s incredible contributions to the grounds the BNP Paribas Open has one of the most attractive and fan friendly settings.

The Riverside County Public Health Department declared a public health emergency earlier today (Sunday March 8th) for the desert cities 110 miles east of Los Angeles, including Indian Wells. Qualifying rounds were to start Monday March 9th, and the main draw was to begin Wednesday March 11th.
